There’s no hype here: these are very high quality drum samples! A problem I’ve noticed with several drum sample packs for synthwave is they come with lo-fi effects built-in, which you cannot undo; you can always apply rate reduction or whatever in post production. You don’t have that problem with these sample packs; these are crystal clear, loud, punchy, and inspiring! I’m grateful for the extensive work and time you’ve put into these, and I look forward to the improvements in sound quality they will bring to my tracks!

This is one of the best soundsets I've purchased. It took me hours to audition all the sounds since I kept getting super inspired to jam. Michael's programming skill mixed with with TAL Sampler's retro flavor is an irresistible combination. I hope we get Volume 2 soon!
This pack contains very good patches for the TAL Sampler. Crocketts Revenge alone was almost worth the purchase for me.

Great patches. All his stuff is great, and we get the EP of songs as well! :) Very friendly and active artist on Facebook and cares about the music and helping other synthwavers. Can't wait to sneak some of these patches in with other gear and devices to create something awesome.

He covers not only presets he used in his California EP, but also covers a wide range of other artists in the genre. All sounds are highly useable and exactly to the point. But not only synthwave or outrun producers benefit from this set, it is also suitable for most melodic electronic music, including e.g. typical 80s music and italo disco. Great value for money and definitely a revaluation of TAL U NO LX.
