Pastel For CZ V (Arturia)

A 64 preset mixtape inspired by Eighties Pop, Retrofuturism and Nostalgia.

Featuring synth brass, quirky leads and retro ensemble recreations Pastel utilises the CZ V’s phase distortion synthesis engine for both retro and modern style presets suitable for synthwave, pop and more. On side A, like dusting off your old bedroom keyboard, these presets breathe an air of nostalgia ranging from classic poly synths and pads to plucky arpeggios and leads. On side B, we’ve moved to the future (at least from the CZ’s 1980s eyes) with west coast hip hop style leads, rich reese basses and pulsating rhythmic pads. Throw the old in with the new and mix it all together with this compilation mixtape of presets. These presets (like all Hurton Audio packs) are hand crafted from the Init/default patch and designed for performance, to inspire song creation.

This pack requires a full version of Arturia CZ V. Arturia Analog Lab/Analog Lab Play recommended for bank installation.

Demos feature presets from this pack with no additional effects (except mix bus processing) and MIDI sequencing. Drum samples not included.
